A trip to the Houston Quilt Show

You really never know what you will run into when you take a trip BUT when you go to a quilt show you are sure to find wonderful creative quilts and great vendors.

I bet you didn't know what else there is waiting for you right at the front door! Yes all these good looking gentlemen are all dressed up and standing in front of the George Brown Center WAITING to valet park your car. Now why in the world would you NOT want them to escort your car to a perfect place. Let me tell you the alternative. You accidentally pass the lot that says $7.00 so you try and turn around but all the streets are one way - going the WRONG way. When you finally make it back to the lot it's full. You go further away from the building and see another lot. This lot is $10.00. Now you are in the WRONG lane so you can't turn in. You try and turn around again working through the one way streets to get back to the lot only to find now the sign says $12.00. Oh well you park anyway. Ask me why I know this...... As my friend Laura Davidson and I passed by all these good looking young gentlemen I decide we needed to let everyone know that the next time you go to the quilt show - make it easy on yourself!
How could you not trust your car to someone with a face like this! I ask you, how often do you see a young man dressed up like this and ready to be at your service?
So now the next question is.... are you safe at the quilt show? The answer is YES! Don't be afraid to get your money out for your ticket. No one is going to mess with you when this big guy is around!
Inside the quilt show you may see a few unusual sites - this is what
happens when adults who act like children work on Halloween.
Some of us don't get out much!
If you go to the quilt show with friends let me warn you to hang on to your sprouts. They can't let you to have ALL the fun and attention.
As you can see I was nice and shared but I didn't give them up easily......

So why are there no pictures of quilts in this story? The answer is simple - they don't let you take pictures of the quilts. I had to come back with pictures of something. I bet your glad I'm ALL DUNN!
